JOHN ARMSTRONG ![]() | Producer • Director • Writer ... studied documentary filmmaking with Robert Gardner at Harvard and did an apprenticeship with Harry Prichett, the creator of classic TV's "Winky Dink," arguably the first interactive television program. Mr. Armstrong helped establish Biomedical Communications at SUNY/Stony Brook’s Health Science Center, and worked on industrial, agricultural and medical films for 15 years before founding John Armstrong & Company in 1987. |
TERRY MEYERS ![]() | Editor ... has been a staff video editor at John Armstrong & Company since 1995 and is largely responsible for the careful craftsmanship of our videos. She is a 1991 graduate of the Film & Video Department at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. |
STEPHEN WARD ![]() | Cinematographer ... has been working with John Armstrong since the late '70's. His cinematography has won awards, but more important, it is sensitive to the needs of the people he films. He has developed novel lighting methods and equipment that produce a soft, natural look without the heat and discomfort of conventional lights. |
